Update on what's happening around here...

Not much really. It's been more than a week since I've posted so I figured I better get to it.

The kids love the kitchen set, although Lauren has a hard time getting to the microwave. But as always she figured out a way around that.
The kids instead of hanging on mommy's leg and screaming when she's cooking now just push up chairs. Lauren screams "Watch! Watch!" They get especially excited when mommy is making cookies. We've been "testing" Brayton into some eggs as recommended by the allergist. Chocolate chip cookies make the perfect test. The allergist says we can try one item with a little tiny bit of eggs daily so long as it's cooked very well.

Finally, we found a place to put up the chalkboard. We put it on the diagonal wall in the kitchen, if you check out the photo you'll realize Colette has gotten the itch to paint again. So tonight we started painting the living room. They kids were naughty, naughty, naughty.

Brayton would not listen to a word we said to him. When I was hanging the chalkboard he was just grabbing the tools. Between my tape measure, the hammer, and my 4 foot level I'm not sure which one he wanted to play with worse. I scolded him time and again. After a while it was finally time for bed. Brayton because he was being so naughty got no books and may have lost his snuggles from mommy. Well, he bawled and bawled and bawled.

I felt kind of bad, because me setting my tools out while I was working and telling him he couldn't touch them is the equivalent to putting out a bunch of candy and saying don't eat them!
