Today when I got home from work, I found out Colette and I were going to be able to go out on a date. That was great news, Dairy Queen is a welcome date anyday.
Kathy Meyer had called and offered to come over and play with Lauren and Brayton. Brayton had already been told the news. It's the first thing he mentioned when I walked into the door tonight.
He said, "Hi Daddy, Kathy Meyer is coming over to play." Needless to say, he was excited.
Kathy arrived shortly before 7pm. We played a bit and watched some movies on the computer (the movies that are in this blog). Shortly thereafter Colette and I snuck out to go have our Dairy Queen treat. I got a Strawberry Cheescake Blizzare and Colette had a Pecan Mudlslide. They were very yummy. After about an hour, we decided to head home.
When we got home, it was apparent the kids were having a ball with Kathy. Kathy taught Brayton a new play dance for "Ring around the Rosie" which he has been singing quite a bit lately. Enjoy...
